Organises congresses, study workshops and the training modules associated with them in the fields of plasma-surface processes and their corresponding equipment.
Promotes research and development in plasma-surface processes in the following industrial sectors: 


  • microelectronics, micro- and nano-technology,
  • hard coating films for hi-tech mechanical industry,
  • polymer and biomaterial surface treatments,
  • sterilisation of medical instruments and food packaging,
  • gaseous waste pollution control.
